Calisto Master grout 60 is free flowing, high strength grout mix which is uased for rehabilitation work of beam columns etc, also used to repair of the damaged structures.

Concrete surfaces must be structurally sound, free of loose or deteriorated concrete and free of dust,dirt,paint, efflorescence, oil and all other contaminants. Remove any loose material and any coatings such as paint, curing agents, and sealers.
Mixing :
Calisto Master Grout 60 is to be mixed with requisite amount of potable water as per the required consistency according to the type of work. And mixing time should be minimum 3 minutes.
For improved strength:
You can add 1.5% to 5% Calisto Latex per 25 kg bag along with requisite amount of water for improved compressive strength.
For the repair work:
To form better bonding of old to new concrete and improved bond strength, first apply bond coat on the old surface followed by 'Calisto Master Grout 60' filling. (Bond coat calisto latex + cement in the ratio of 1:1)
Exercise caution and use protective clothing such as gloves and goggles. inhalation of vapour or mist shoould be avoided. if inhaled symptoms include coughing, wheezing, laryngitis, and shortness of breath, headache, nausea, and vomiting. immediately shift victim to fresh air & if need be start artificial repiration. Give oxygen if breathing is labored & call emergency medical help. In case of eye contact flush with water for 15 minutes and call for medical help. if swallowed will cause nausea,vomiting, and loss of consciousness. Do not induce voiting rather call for medical help.If contact with skin flush with water/ soap & water until all traces are removed. seek medical attention if required.

Description :
Calisto Crackfill is a specially formulated repair material designed to fully meet the requirement of effective repairing of cracks in plasters and in concrete, avoiding the use of costly sealants and putties. Calisto Crackfill is a dry powder when mixed with water it forms a creamy consistency mortar which is ready to use in repairing cracks and repairing plasters. Calisto Crackfill is reinforced with alkali resistant fibres. Calisto Crackfill is available in Grey and off white colour powder.
Advantages :
Calisto Crackfill replaces costly sealant and putties. It is non-shrink, hence possibility of shrinkage cracks are nonexistent. It has high tensile strength and good adhesion property. The finish achieved is sufficiently smooth. Good resistance to freeze/ thaw cycles, carbonation and attack by chlorides. Conventional curing is not required.
Composition:
Calisto Crackfill is available in two grades, namely grey and off white to suit the surrounding surface color and texture. The product is a blend of special cements, special additives and selected grades fine aggregates along with alkali resistant glass fibres. The product when mixed with water in the proportion of 3.5 Volume of powder to one volume of water results in a workable paste which can be trowelled to a fine finish.
Primary uses
- Calisto Crackfill is ideally suited for repairing of superficial plaster cracks as well as structural cracks.
- Calisto Crackfill can be used for repairing ceiling cracks and plasters with ease because of its viscosity.
- Cracks arising due to plasters cracking at junctions of wall and column or brick work sotfit of beam can be effectively sealed.
- Cracks at parapet wall junction and roof slabs are also sealed with Calisto Crackfill
- The product is suitable for rendering
Preparation: It is essential that the surface of the concrete to be repaired is sound, clean and uncontaminated. Chase the crack and form a heat "V" shaped groove at least 6mm wide on surface. Damaged plasters can be cut out in more or less square sides. Defective material must be removed carefully using reducing tools, needle guns or sharp tools and chipping hammers. Force must not be applied as it will damage the sound material beneath.
MIXING
Just add water to Calisto Crackfill by volume in the ratio of 1 volume of water to 3.5 volumes of powder and mix thoroughly to get an even consistency mortar. For better bonding on the surface, you can add 'Calisto Latex' 100ml per 1kg of 'Calisto crackfill'. Mixing by trowel is suitable for small mixes, it is recommended that an efficient mechanical mixer be used.
CURING
Start curing alter the material has sufficiently hardened for two days and then allow it to dry out slowly (i.e. protect from rapid drying due to wind, sun or excessive heat). Use of Curing Compound is ideal in repairs.
Calisto Crackfill is suitable for all subsequent decorative finishes and painting. The finish obtained by Calisto Crackfill is far smoother than conventional plasters
Coverage :In crack repair 1 kg of crackfill repairs 11 linear feet of crack chased to a width of 6 mm and a depth of 3 mm. In rendering 60 kg of crackfill covers 100 sq. ft. of area to a thickness of 2 mm.

1. As An Admixture: Add 1ltr per bag of cement to improve bonding, strength and quality of the mix. Bond coat: Mix CALISTO SBR with water and cement in the ratio of 1:1:2
2.For bonding Plaster to Plaster/ plaster to brick/ old concrete to new concrete/beam column repairs: Apply a bond coat with above mixture on the prepared surface and when applied mixture is still tacky, place/apply plaster or concrete as per planning.
3. To be used as waterproof coating: Brush apply minimum 2 coats of above mixture. Apply 2nd coat once the 1st coat is dry. Protect / finish with screed or plaster. Typically used in Water tanks / Chajjas / Terraces / DPC / over sunken slabs in bathroom.
4. As a coating for prevention of corrosion in rebars: Rusted rebars are to be thoroughly scraped, by mechanical means. Apply a single coat of prepared mix over the rebars. etc
Remove all dust, foreign matters, loose materials or any deposits of contamination which could affect the bond between the surface and the Coating by scarifying, grinding, water blasting, sand blasting, acid washing or by any other approved method.

Bond coat: Mix Calisto Latex with water and cement in the ratio of 1:1:2
1. For bonding Plaster to Plaster/ plaster to brick/ old concrete to new concrete: Apply a bond coat with above mixture on the prepared surface and when applied mixture is still tacky, place/apply plaster or concrete as per planning.

4. For use as a waterproof repair plaster: Add 1 Kg ‘Calisto Latex with requisite water for 50 kg bag of cement. Add this mix to the recommended dry plaster mix of 1:3 mortar (cement : sand). Keep water-cement ratio in Plaster as low as 0.4 – 0.45. For better results, first apply bond coat on the surface to be treated and then lay the plastering mix as per the standard procedure.
5. To be used as alternative for hacking: Add 2 Kg ‘Calisto Latex’ with requisite water for 50 kg bag of cement. Add this mix to the recommended dry plaster mix of 1:3 mortar (cement: sand). Adjust the water cement ratio according to the required workability. Apply this plastering machine with ‘Tyrolean machine’. Let it dry and cure for more than 24 hrs. (Minor water sprinkling is required for curing). This is ideal for vertical as well as horizontal surfaces.

After floor concreting when the concrete is firm to take the weight of workman sprinkle Calisto Hardtop at the desired rate on the green concrete and trowel it in with metal floats or power trowel. Care should be taken to see that concrete surface is just ready to receive dry shake powder. If delayed too much it will become unworkable and if Calisto Hardtop sprinkled too early it will get mixed with the concrete and loose its utility. Sprinkling of Calisto Hardtop should be controlled such that a uniform quantity of the product is sprinkled throughout. It may be suggested that broadcasting of Calisto Hardtop be done in two stages. The second stage of broadcasting done in a perpendicular direction to the first stage broad cast.
The base concrete should be well designed incorporating at least 350 kgs of cement per cubic meter of concrete and water cement ratio to be kept at a minimum to produce low slump concrete. Floor concrete needs to be well vibrated and power floated.

1.Clean the surface to be treated as per normal surface preparation methods
for concreteremoving loose particles & deleterious materials etc.
2.Damp down the surface.
3.Mix Calisto Superstop and water in the proportion of 3 volumes of powder to 1 volume of water and mix to obtain a stiff consistency paste.
4.Press in position or trowel the paste to the finishing level and cure normally.
Calisto Superstop is generally nontoxic,but it is advised that workers use gloves and avoid contact with skin. Accidental splashes of the powder on skin or eyes should be immediately washed with plenty of clean water. In the event of prolonged irritation seek medical advice.

Calisto Microcrete is free flowing Cementitious grey powder with micro fine aggregates along with polymers, which is used for repair of the damaged structures. This ready-made high strength mortar is added with glass fibres which provides 360 degree reinforcement and crack resistance.

Calisto Flexiseal is Acrylic sealent available in brilliant white colour for sealing the gaps between window and door frames, particle boards, Precast- panels, etc. It is UV resistant and has excellent bonding to almost construction materials. It is effectively used for crack filling of plastered surface as well as the mother concrete. It helps to seal the corner joints, joints of PVC pipes, sanitary fittings etc.
